Patron- Drew Baker
Drew trained at London School of Musical Theatre and has consistently worked as a performer and director ever since. Drew’s select directing credits include: Zanna Don’t! (The Landor Theatre), Children of Eden (The Prince of Wales Theatre, West End, London), The Mikado (Battersea Barge), The Last Five Years (The Tabard Theatre), Sweeney Todd (Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff) and Songs For A New World (New Players Theatre, London), just to name a few. Drew’s direction has also been seen in venues such as the HQ Theatres, The White Rock Theatre, the Broxbourne Civic Theatre, Dolman Studios (Newport Shakespeare Festival), Upstairs at the Gatehouse and on BBC One. Additionally, Drew has directed various Pantomimes, summer seasons, concerts and reviews across the UK and Europe.
Drew became a patron for CBS Dance in 2018 at the same time the Drew Baker scholarship was created. Keen to ensure all performers have the opportunity to further their studies, the scholarship assists those who would otherwise be unable to afford the course.
It is thanks to Drew that several of our students this year are undertaking further training to enrich their careers in the industry.
